SquadPicks is an entertainment-only sports prediction and private group hosting platform. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Nature of the Platform (Important)

SquadPicks is NOT a gambling platform. We do not accept, facilitate, process, or participate in any form of real-money wagers, betting pools, prize fund distribution, or gambling-related fund flow.

All paid plans purchased by users are strictly one-time Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) hosting fees, charged per group to unlock advanced technical features such as larger room capacities, custom scoring rules, and custom branding banners. Regardless of any private outcomes between users in their rooms, the platform only collects fixed software licensing fees.

This platform strictly complies with the U.S. Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA) and the Interstate Wire Act. We have architecturally eliminated any gambling fund loop—no virtual wallets, no deposit interfaces, no point withdrawal mechanisms, and no online prize settlement.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register and use this platform. You must provide true, accurate, complete information upon registration and update it promptly when changes occur.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials (password, Magic Link, OAuth bindings). All activity generated by your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access.

4. User Content

Content you publish in room names, descriptions, and Banter messages must comply with applicable laws, must not infringe third-party rights, and must not contain harassment, hate speech, obscene, or illegal material. We reserve the right to remove violating content and suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice.

5. Fees and Payments

Paid group features are sold as a one-time SaaS hosting fee charged per group, processed by globally recognized third-party billing partners. A paid group is charged once and is NOT a recurring subscription; there is no auto-renewal. The paid features apply to that group for the duration of its associated tournament and expire when the tournament ends. Refund eligibility is governed exclusively by the separate Refund Policy and the conditions listed therein. At checkout you will be required to expressly acknowledge: (1) acceptance of these Terms of Service and the Refund Policy, and (2) understanding that refund eligibility is voided once the first match kicks off OR five or more group members start submitting predictions, whichever occurs first. These acknowledgements are recorded and may be presented as evidence in any payment-dispute proceedings.

6. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for serious violations including but not limited to: fraud, abuse, exploiting vulnerabilities, or violating these Terms. Upon termination, your content may be deleted or anonymized.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding continuous availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Match scores are sourced from third-party data providers (API-Football, Sportradar, or manual admin input) and may experience delays, errors, or omissions. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but are not liable for prediction-result disputes caused by data issues.

Any "leaderboard ranking" or "points" obtained through the platform have NO monetary value whatsoever and are intended solely for social entertainment among private friend groups. The platform bears no responsibility for any private arrangements between users.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent courts of China.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
